Founded in 1992, the Breast Cancer Fund works to prevent breast cancer by eliminating our exposure to toxic chemicals and radiation linked to the disease. While we are the only national advocacy organization focused solely on breast cancer prevention, we are part of a broad environmental, reproductive public health and justice movement. We translate the growing body of scientific evidence linking breast cancer and environmental exposures into public education, policy advocacy and market-based campaigns directed toward systemic changes that will protect public health and reduce incidence of breast cancer over time.
